Journals

At Mathematics Teaching (MT) Journal we're not looking to conform to an ‘official’ view - whatever that may be - on the way mathematics should be taught. Instead the MT Editorial Board wants journal contributors to express their personal views, on the teaching and learning of mathematics. The ATM is an association of teachers; where everyone has a contribution to make, and experiences and insights to share. Whether they're practical, political, philosophical or speculative, we're looking for articles reflecting on the practice of teaching mathematics. We want to publish articles of interest to our broad membership - from Foundation Stage, to Higher and Further Education - as well as balanced between articles derived from research and those from practical experience.

Articles submitted are accepted for publication based on clarity, topicality, the extent to which they reflect on the knowledge and understanding of mathematics teaching and learning, and their contribution to inspiring further development and research.  Searching for a particular journal - On the Journals Page please seach using MT followed by the number, i.e. MT124.
